We're now ready to announce the winner of this year's YayArtist'08 competition!

After two hard rounds of voting, competing against more than hundreds of art pieces, this year's winner has won the hearts of hundreds of people around the globe. We're proud to present Antonella Spagnoli (alias Andyworld) and her art piece the "The True Original Sin" as the winner of this year's YayArtist'08 title!

The crowd has rewarded Andyworld with the YayArtist'08 title for her fantastic art piece "The True Original Sin". This piece presents great techniques and fabulous storytelling, combining old with new. Andyworld displays her artistic talent through manifold expressions and styles. She has participated with three extraordinary pieces in the YayArtist'08 competition, they all ended up in the top 50. We'll be looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Congratulations Andyworld and congratulations to all the YayArtist '08 finalists exhibited on the giant cubes. All of you are the loved by hundreds - keep up the good work!

Yay! This marks the big bang - setting the scene for digital art and YayArt! From now on well keep on introducing your digital art into real people's lives.

This competition has shown us that it's a new era for digital art. The new media sets up numerous opportunities. We're now able to bring together the most talented artists around the world. Thanks to all of you who has submitted and let us all appreciate your work.

If one is to analyze how the competition went, there is only one thing to conclude. The media has changed but we still judge upon the same basic things. Effort is rewarded. Pieces with an idea, a greatly expressed purpose and a high artistic level gets instant love. That's why we're proud of the great quality of the submissions in our newly introduced YayDay competitions.
