War: In the name of peace

by boneandfeathers

Graphic Design, to me, is absolute truth. It provides me a space to change meanings and break stereotypes.

In today's political context, it uses a retro icon and adds another perspective to war and peace. And how the line between them is so thin.

I love this. "The thin line between entertainment and war" :)

That's good, but I think you should, take off the with symbol of peace, and leave just the red circle and the aeroplane, and the text...

Very nice. I agree with Dario though, I think the point could be made perfectly with just one symbol. The concept is strong enough, that I don't think it needs much explaining. Well done. Love it.

Dario,
Thanks for the suggestion. It is valid.
I was quite convinced it will work too. So I removed the white peace symbol. To gather that visual information, the viewer needs to be well versed with visual vocabulary.
For that very reason, I choose to retain the redundant visual clue.
Have a great day!
