The 24 finalists of YayArtist '08!

I am a student of final of career in plastic arts in Bogotá, Colombia. I have 26 years, a dog, a collection of soccer balls. I like to play cards, to bet strong, to take a risk and to build things. I work to creative in different companies of publicity in my country and I am also drawing of comics (next to be published). I like to read, to speak with people, to build looks and to relate new imaginary.For six years I am devoted to the art and the illustration, I have drawn from very young, but he/she took it as a hobbie, already studying my new career - first he/she studies linguistics -, let us concentrate a lot on the sense of my images and of my ideas without thinking a lot of the means, alone in the concepts, so I make painting, digital works, watercolor, drawing to pencil and many things that little by little they help me aentender my own sensibility.

This image is an instant personal story with the intention of approaching different contents of the pain of the individual. An emotion at this time so stereotyped and trivialization contrasted with normal pain, that is, deep and Everyday Life, a basic pain, a old sore. A hands cut pain. A portrait of the daily suffering from a more individual and human perspective. Is sustain safely withstand this helps and ease our burden so at the end of our lives: the pain has always been a goal of human behavior.
