The 24 finalists of YayArtist '08!

Thinking about contrast and about making the fish the central piece of the image, i chose to create a peaceful environment for it. I also chose to add a little bit of fantasy by creating graphical types of plants for the fishbowl, instead of realistic ones. I think that added a pleasant decorative element to the work without stealing the attention from the fish.
I thought about the act of watching a real fishbowl and the pleasant sensations it brings and I tried to create a little bit of this sensations with this work.
