WHATS THE STORY BEHIND THIS BAK

Well, the story is told by the peace itself ;o)

but in terms of technique - it is a fotograph of a naked back digitalised by all kinds of stuff, which I don't remember anymore, since I improvised

You know,

perhaps if you try to remember the feeling you have when you get a creative idea you will be able to better relate to this work

in my case the cretaive process happens in stages:

- a subtle hint of an idea passes quickly through your mind as if saying "never mind me! I am just visiting - no strings attached!"
- you become curious about it and come back to it once in a while in your mind to check it out
- the more you visit it, the more this idea takes form and acquires a character and it becomes a permanent presence in your mind and you can't ignore it anymore
- you come closer and closer every time, adding more and more detail to its being untill you feel it is ready and strong enough to be materialised
- you wait for a while to start your work and somehow in a most rediculous and inappropriate moment the idea takes over and you just have to start working on it here and now - you can't help it, it spills out, it posseses you and you get intagled in the process of creation

thats how it happends in my case...

hej there!

Dali - oh ja! love Dali!

Actually I found recently that photoshop is a really good tool for turning photographs into surrealistic paintings - works like a charm :o)

I swear i can see some one standing on the right side of the back. I always have prefered this type of photo art over illustrations. Good work:)

Well, heronimous is a really cool dude!

considering that he leaved (1450-1516), his works are some of the first building blocks of surrealism...although what I allways disliked about surrealism is the heaviness of the subject matter and he is soooo heavy to me

thx for the comments guys!
