This peace is a combination of two separately created peaces

just an experiment...

The two initial peaces were made with a very different time frame in mind -

-the one with a greak sculpture coming alive was representative of an antient time and a symbiosis of people and architecture back then...architecture was more earthy, materials were natural and somehow more in harmony with human nature as I see it...thats why she makes home there

-the other peace is about modern architecture - it is dynamic and complicated, but it lacks the human factor and intimacy that can warm it up

despite of these contrasting differences, the two types of architectural styles do meet and are combined by many contemporary designers. That is very fascinating - a very promising development - an evolution process if you will - slow but dynamic just as portrayed in this peace

enjoy!

Its difficult to keep the history art books in perspective. What goes around comes around -Duchamp Ö?

History art books...well, not much time for that, unfortunately...so if you meant that Duchamp O is some sort of inspiration for the work, I have to dissapoint you here...this one is totally self imagined...or what did you mean?

well, thank you for the reference, I really appreciate it! Actually I saw one of his works before I think even in the primary school when the teacher explained how can motion be inbedded into a drawing/painting - we got his "nude descending down the stairs" as an example...I was not a big fan back then :o), so I forgot his name completely...but I allways been obsessed with teh idea of motion depicted

now I start appreciating this kind of art much much more - I can relate to the revolutionary spirit of it (Dadaism and origins of Surrealism - wow)... Somehow I got fascinated by the "bycicle wheel" just now - for me this work depicts castration of nature, mercelessly...brrrr

thanks again for the ref
